Little Otter Productions is a film & digital media company founded by Sony Alpha Grant-winning creative Gabrielle Mariella. A sought-after partner in the theater community, Little Otter has a history of projects that center music, theatre, or amplify historically underrepresented voices. As an NYU Tisch School of the Arts-trained actor and singer herself, Gabrielle brings both an artistic and technical perspective to her projects, making her an ideal collaborator for those looking to make meaningful content. In October of 2021, Gabrielle won a Sony Alpha Female+ Grant, with which she filmed, directed, produced, and edited ENOUGH, a documentary short about female Broadway creatives and gender equity in theater, featuring Sammi Cannold, Valerie Lau-Kee, Twi McCallum and TONY AWARD® winners Jessica Paz and Macy Schmidt.

Film work as a Director of Photography and editor incudes documentary, narrative short films, music videos, interviews, and brand films, including an interview series on Broadstream featuring ACADEMY AWARD® nominee Danielle Brooks, an exclusive music video for Rolling Stone, and an origin film for The Sinfonietta, an award-winning all-women orchestra, that premiered at the BARBIE™ THE MOVIE: IN CONCERT™ at the Hollywood Bowl. Little Otter Productions also routinely works with start-ups across audio, video, print, and web mediums at the intersection of digital marketing and creative content.
